Rules:
(pardon us if they’re a bit smarmy)

01. Posts are to be in third-person and third person alone. If you are caught writing with the dumb little asterisks (*so-and-so walks in*) or in first person, big trouble. You will be warned and if you continue, you may just be banned.

02. Post length, every site has it. We want at least six sentences out of everyone. We are an advanced to expert site, so please respect our wishes.

03. Mary-Sues are not allowed. People are flawed, ergo characters need to be flawed. A Mary-Sue application will be immediately deleted.

04. Not every wizarding family is rich. Deal with it. We do request that you make your characters realistic in this aspect as well.

05. Not everyone is a pureblood, either. Deal with it. Also, even if your character is a pureblood, please see rule no. 4.

06. This is a PG-13 rated site. So there can be snogging and necking, but anything beyond that please put [[R]] or something along those lines in the title so that those who don’t want to read it can avoid the thread.

07. Yet again, a PG-13 site, so there is gonna be violence. If it gets too graphic, please post [[R]] in the title. Murder must be approved by the admins before it takes place. Certain forms of violence are certainly out of the question. Rape and suicide are never, ever going to occur on this site, understood?

08. Its okay if you swear, everybody does. But please make it realistic, no one swears twenty-four seven. If we get reports of you being more then a little bit excessive however, we will let you know and give you a stern warning.

09. Please respect your fellows out of character. We’re all here to have fun, so if you want to have an argument with somebody OOC, please confine it to PMs and PMs alone. If it spreads into the c-box, all parties involved are in trouble. But in-character drama is appreciated, just not in the c-box. The p.w. for the applications is elevation.

10. When it comes face claims, real people are to be used. Honestly, if you can’t find a human being rather then an anime character then why are you on this site rather then one for anime?

11. The Eleventh Commandment (and probably the most important): HAVE FUN!

12. Only adults can get pregnant, simple as that. No students. Period. Marriages are out of the question for students but they can be engaged until they graduate.

13. Signatures can be no larger then 500x250 pixels and avatars are to be 100x100 pixels or smaller. Deviation means troubles from our graphics guru. She’s a bit of a stickler about this kind of thing.

14. Original characters are accepted, but beware: Originals will subject to closer scrutiny then canon character so that we do not get Mary Sues. And by original, we mean original. We do not want the same character that you use on seventeen bazillion sites already. Where is the creativity in that, eh?

15. If you mention a house that your character would like to be in, we won't give it to you, period. The only houses that can mentioned are those of family members who are either sorted or graduated.

16. Although there are boards for other schools around the world, students must be enrolled at Hogwarts, although they may be transfers from any of the other schools.

17. NO MORE THEN 5 CHARACTERS! We mean it folks. And please see rule no. 14 for information on the way we are handing out characters right now.

18. What is one of the seven Voldemort’s Horcruxes?

19. Please capitalize your names.

20. Reiteration: our best friend. No Mary Sues, no perfection, no nothing along those lines.

21. Admins are the equivalent of God on this site, ergo we can we can do anything we want. If you don't like it, suck it up prince/princess! Admittedly, this is all within reason and we will try to be as egalitarian as possible.

22. Be active! That is the only way that the site will be active. So, we want you to post at least once a week. Any less and you get an e-mail warning from us. If your character has been inactive for two months or more, we will delete you unless there is a reason that you are gone in the absences board.
